This place is a hidden gem nestled in the mountains. We were amazed at how easy it was to get here using public transport. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful forest and the views are breathtaking. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival and the room amenities, including heating and air conditioning, made our stay extremely comfortable. The terrace with garden furniture was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus and allowed us to stay connected during our stay. The on-site dining restaurant provided delicious meals with a wide variety of options. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The leisure facilities, including a jacuzzi and spa center, were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The hot spring bath and open-air bath were a true highlight of the stay. This hotel truly exceeded our expectations.
We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone for an unforgettable experience.

The lack of things to do nearby. the hotel was situated in a quiet area where there wasn't much to see or explore on foot.

We recently stayed at a charming traditional Japanese hotel. The outdoor hot springs were simply amazing, there were both shared and private ones and we never had to wait for our turn. the food was delicious! We had a lavish 11-course meal with local dishes that we never tasted before. The location was ideal, surrounded by mountains, forests, rivers, and cascades. Being able to walk through nature trails after soaking in the hot springs was a wonderful experience.
There wasn't much around to visit or explore on foot. Although the staff was really nice and helpful, the language barrier was challenging at times, despite their efforts to provide some English information.

We recently stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel that gave us an authentic experience of Japan. the hotel had a peaceful and scenic location, with great onsen facilities that were comfortable and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the large rooms with their own fireplaces, lovely private dining areas, and especially the excellent food. the staff was also great at making everything run smoothly despite language barriers.
Although the staff was courteous, their English language skills were just adequate.
